Web Quests

Web Quests, like Treasure Hunts, are learning activities that involve students in searching the Internet for information on a specific topic.   However, Web Quests require more planning to involve students in higher levels of thinking.  Web Quest projects include an overview, guidelines, questions, links, and opportunities to write, create a product, or answer questions.

For an introduction to Web Quests, work with your group to complete a  Web Quest on Web Quests created by Bernie Dodge, the guru of Web Quests.  Complete the Web Quest appropriate to the level which you intend to teach.  Be ready to report your findings to the class.
